Ale House Pub and Eatery

This building is no longer standing. In 2001 the building was torn down to to make way for a bookstore. Sadly to say that i only discovered this haunt a few years ago only to find out it was to late to do any investigations or get any pictures. It is one of my favorite stories so i decided to make it one of the Houston Haunts real haunts.

Story

• Two ghosts haunted this place, a maid and a sea captain.
• Was once a speakeasy and before that a brothel.
• Beer mugs thrown, light flicker, plates being flipped and candles being thrown are some examples of these hauntings.
• Lawsuit against the pub over a customer being hit by these objects insinuating the pub was at fault.
• Torn down in June 2001 to make way for a strip mall.
