The media invasion

Shame on you Castle of Doom for entertaining your paying guests! I was tipped off by one of my co-reviewers that these guys were going to be on the news, so I flipped on the tele and popped a squat. Just in time too as I see the huge skull facade from The Castle Of Doom / Sanitarium wallpapered against the screen of the TV. I hear some mumbo-jumbo voodoo crap from some lady who is some how surprised that a HAUNTED ATTRACTION would do something like…show a scary movie to their waiting customers. That’s when I started thinking about all of the heat that this industry has received this year. Perhaps it started with that Bullsh*t XXX attraction whose idea was scare-sex-scare (wow, what an ingenious and productive way to make money fellas).
Today, I read on Yahoo! about how the ghost hunting industry is picking up steam and the story had this “tone” to it. It seems as if there is uh-backlash-uh-brewin’…
And now, The Castle is getting beat up (albeit getting free advertising) because a MOTHER unknowingly dropped her CHILDREN off at a business in which horror is the main ingredient. Unknowingly is the key idea here. Why is she holding the attraction responsible? How about some personal accountability? Reminds me how every time I see a cup of McDonalds coffee I read that the contents inside are hot… uh, no sh*t Sherlock.
All attractions…Please warn you patrons that the contents inside are horrifically frightful.
Yahoo!’s Ghost Hunting story – Interesting even if I misinterpreted the “tone.”
